The Viennese Primroses are highly professional musicians performing in various ensemble sizes: from String duo to string quartet, piano trio up to salon orchestra. The musicians perform the most famous works of the Viennese Classic, amongst others W.A. Mozart and J. Haydn as well as the typical Viennese music by J. Strauß, F. Lehar, E. Kalman and C. M. Zieher. The ensemble size of the salon orchestra ist characteristic for this period of time.
The costumes of the ladies orchestra were designed in original historic style and are tailor-made from golden and white silk. Because of the classic style they fit in the Baroque – as well as in the Biedermeier period and create a special and festive atmosphere for the event.
